News Flash on September 24th — World Ballet Day 2026 is a go!
Thursday, October 29, 2026 will mark the return of World Ballet Day, and this year the theme is “How Stories Are Made.”
Sounding pretty cool, huh? Details will be announced in due time, but what you can be guaranteed of, right now, is that it’ll be another fun, global celebration of dance lasting all day long.
Here’s what the World Ballet Day website has to say about the 2026 event:
This year World Ballet Day returns with a celebration of the stories behind the art form of ballet. Through rehearsals, discussions, behind-the-scenes insights and more, international ballet companies will share their storytelling experiences.
Ballet companies worldwide will stream and share content from their individual platforms.
